How MixMates works

Six steps from sign-up to a live session with your friends.
Create your DJ profile
Sign up and pick a DJ name and avatar. This is how friends will recognise you in a session — it only takes a moment.
Load your two decks
Open the mixer and tap a deck to pick a track from the library (or upload your own on a paid plan). One track per deck, just like a real set of turntables.
Blend with the crossfader
Drag the crossfader to slide between decks, and shape the sound with the EQ and volume faders. Cue a track silently with the Sync button before bringing it in.
Start a live session
Hit “Start Session” to go live. Your decks become the master mix — anyone you invite hears exactly what you play, in real time.
Invite your friends
Share the invite link through any channel. Friends tap it, join the session, and land straight on your decks as listeners.
Pass the decks & chat
A listener taps “Request to Take Control”. You approve, and the outgoing track keeps playing seamlessly while they mix in. Chat live in the session the whole time.

Open the decks to artists
DJs and artists will submit their own tracks straight into the trial library, so new music reaches listeners the moment it drops.
